Zahid W Butt, MD, FACG
President & Chief Executive Officer
With more than twenty five years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings Dr. Butt provides a unique combination of clinical, technical and administrative skills. As Director of Clinical Informatics at St. Agnes Healthcare, Baltimore he played a key role in the early implementation of a complete health information system that last year achieved Stage Six of the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model. He is an expert in online physician documentation and is an active user of an Ambulatory Medical Record system since October 1996.
Dr. Butt has also held Medical Staff leadership positions including President of the Medical Staff and Chairman of Quality and Utilization Management at St. Agnes Healthcare. He was a member of the Board at MAMSI, a publicly traded Managed Care company prior to its acquisition by United Healthcare. He has served on technical and administrative task forces both in government and the private sector.
His current efforts are focused in building software applications that leverage hospital data sets for Quality improvement and Business Intelligence. Dr. Butt currently chairs the HIMSS National Quality Forum Task Force and was recently appointed to the CMS Technical Expert Panel (TEP) for Meaningful Use Clinical Quality Measures (CQM's).
Pam Halvorson, COO
Trimark Physicians Group
Pam Currently serves as the Vice President Regional Clinic Operations, Executive Sponsor – ACO Strategies, for Trinity Health Systems, a senior affiliate of the Iowa Health System. She has served in her current role since January 2012. Pam has overall sponsorship for the Pioneer ACO in northwest central Iowa, one of 32 Pioneer ACOs nationwide. Pam works collaboratively with Iowa Health System support staff to set goals, monitor work and evaluate results to ensure that regional objectives and operating requirements are met in alignment with Pioneer ACO objectives including the Triple Aim. In addition to this work, Pam is the Chief Operating Officer of Trimark Physicians Group.
Pam previously served as Executive Director of Business Development for Trinity Regional Medical Center. Previous positions in the Trinity Health System included Director of Rehabilitation, Trinity Wound Center, Trinity Corporate Health Services, Employee Health and Renal Dialysis. Prior to joining Trinity Health System, Pam was an Area Manager with RehabVisions, a rehabilitation management group.
Pam is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She has served as the President of the Iowa Occupational Therapy Association, the American Occupational Therapy Association State Presidents Council, and was a member of the North Dakota Occupational Therapy State Board of Practice. Within the rehabilitation fields, she has provided expert testimony to legislative bodies in three states regarding the impact of reimbursement changes on consumers and access to affordable healthcare.
